Bells of the Lakes Members

Angie Kinser 

Angie Kinser has been ringing handbells since1990. She has rung handbells in concerts and festivals all over the US and the UK. Bronze plus, low bass music is what she prefers to ring most. Angie has performed with professional, auditioned handbell groups such as Bells of the Lakes and Twin Cities Bronze. She has also directed both youth and adult handbell groups.

Angie graduated the University of Iowa with a double major in Vocal Music Performance and Music Education. She taught music for five years in West Des Moines Public Schools before moving to Minnesota with her husband in 1995. She has been teaching music in the Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan School District (ISD 196) ever since. She currently is a choral director at the middle school level.

In her spare time, Angie enjoys time with her husband, two dogs and cat, directing students’ musicals and extracurricular choirs, and performing as a member of the Royal Court at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, MN.
