Bells of the Lakes Equipment

Bells of the Lakes performs and rehearses on Schulmerich bells, with nearly six octaves in one bell set and five octaves in another. The group also uses five complete octaves of Malmark chimes and the bass chimes down through the 7th octave. Most of the ensemble’s equipment is owned by Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. Special thanks to the church and to Hennepin Chime for use of their equipment: bells, chimes, tables, foam, stands, music and more. The bells are stored and carried in 9 cases for the 5 octave set, 14 cases for the 6 octave set, and 8 cases for chimes.
