Bells of the LakesKate is a founding member of Bells of the Lakes. She starting ringing at River Hills United Methodist Church in Burnsville and toured with that group to national and regional festivals. Kate is a former ringer and director of the Hennepin Chime, Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. Currently Kate is the handbell ensemble director at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in St. Paul. Having rung bells for more years than she will reveal, Kate is no stranger to hauling bells, music, tables, and foam around the region. When not ringing bells, scouring files for bell music, participating in bell events and just plain thinking about bells, Kate is a Business System Analyst for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
